Bill is married to Merita and they have 2 married daughters...Beth (Gabe) and Amanda (Heath). They have 4 grandchildren, Allie, Harrison, Corbin & Kennedy. He has been a member since 1959 and is retired from Alabama Power Co.
Billy Greene
Billy married Cathy Benton Greene more than 55 years ago, in 1980. He has been retired from Bellsouth for over 20 years now and Cathy is a retired school teacher. They have one son, Scott.
Brian Benton
Brian is an Attorney and his parents are Billy & Becky Benton. Brian grew up at Lakewood and has been a member since 1987. He works with our Children's programs.
Drew Parkman
Drew has been married to Beth for 18 years and they have 2 daughters, Libby and Georgia Kate. Beth has been a member since 1990 and Drew joined Lakewood when they married.
Jerry Barbaree
Jerry is married to Sheila and they have been members since 2013. Jerry drives our golf cart on Sunday mornings and for special events. Sheila serves on our bereavement team.
Mike Murry
Mike is married to Kay and they have been members since 2019. They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They have lived in Smith Station since Mike retired from the Navy. They enjoy fishing and being with friends.
Randy Clark
Randy is married to Jill and they have a son Ryan who is married to Melissa. Their 2 grandchildren are Katy & John Henry. Randy and Jill have been members at Lakewood since 2017
Zack White
Zack is married to Jessica and they have 2 children, Parker and Molly Kate. Jessica has been a member since 2002. Zack joined when they married in 2014. They both play in our Orchestra. Zack also plays in our Praise Band.
Chris Bankston
Chris is married to Jan and has been a member of Lakewood all of his life. He is retired and serves in the Alleluia Choir as well as the Amen Choir.
Gabe Hedges
Gabe is married to Beth and joined 21 years ago. They have 2 children, Allie is 16 and Harrison is 12. Gabe enjoys teaching recreation for AWANA and traveling with family. His father and mother - law are Bill & Merita Norris.
Rex Carter
Rex is married to Sandy and teaches a co-ed Adult Bible Fellowship class. He and Sandy sing in the Alleluia and Amen Choirs. Rex chairs our transportation team.
Steve Argo
Steve is married to Margie and they have celebrated over 65 years together. They have been members at Lakewood since 1991.
