A.W.A.N.A. stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. It is a well known program that runs through the school year. Lakewood has A.W.A.N.A. classes for 3 year olds through 4th graders.
CUBBIE BEAR IS THE MASCOT
FOR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS.
Scripture memorization, games and Bible study are the focus of this fun and instructional program. Kids learn missions, service and teamwork in a safe, loving environment created just for them. They meet in the children's building with preschoolers on the lower level and elementary children upstairs. Game time is in the Family Life Center
