My wife, Paige and I, have been married for 25 years and have two adult children; Jordan (age 23) and Colt (age 19) . I am a Columbus native and Paige is from Phenix City, and we currently reside in Columbus. We have been doing student ministry for over 25 years across three churches, all in the Columbus-Phenix City area. Prior to Lakewood, we most recently served at my home church of Edgewood Baptist in Columbus for 10 years. At age 7, while at EBC, I realized my need for Jesus as Savior and Lord and was baptized, and at age 19, I received my call to ministry and began to serve, while working full-time and attending college (CSU). Our ministry model in simple, we believe in a relational student ministry that is focused on training disciple-makers who will make other disciples. We believe in, and practice, the exposition of God’s Word, as we walk through the bible with our students and young adults. This ministry also places high priority on service and evangelism, giving students the opportunity to exercise their faith. We are regularly involved in local, stateside, and foreign missions, following the command of the Great Commission. We would love the opportunity to invest in your student’s life, come join us!
